2012/13 YPS Results

The Swimming Australia Youth Performance Squad (YPS) results are now available - click here to see your ranking.  A very big congratulations to all of our swimmers.

The Australian Youth Performance Squad (YPS) is an exciting new initiative designed to reward swimmers aged 13-18 for their performances in the pool. The YPS is an extension of the Junior Excellence (JX) program which recognises and rewards 9-13 year olds. Similar to Junior Excellence, YPS rewards swimmers for achieving particular time standards set by Swimming Australia.

July Holiday Camp - Starts and Turns

The July Holidays Starts and Turns Camp is to further develop the swimmer's starts, turns and finishes in all four competitive strokes, as well as IM and relays. The camp will be run over four days from Monday 15-Thursday 18 July from 9am-11am at Challenge. Click here for further information and enrolment procedures.

WAIS High Performance Network Program Presentation

Many parents and swimmers attended the WAIS HPNP Presentation on 31 August. The presentation focussed on the Club's role in the program, which is scheduled for implementation later this year. Guest speakers were Swimming WA CEO Daniel Tackenberg and WAIS High Performance Swimming Manager Greg Hodge. A copy of their presentations are below:
