The Latest News at West Coast Swim Club
A - Grade Premiership Info
The Swimming WA Club Premiership, A Division, is the best 8 clubs in WA vying for the title of “Premiership Club”. The gruelling selection process is over and the West Coast “A-Grade
Premiership Team” has been finalised. Congratulations to all swimmers
who have been chosen to represent West Coast next Friday in what is
considered the premier team competition in the State. The final team has been published so if you are uncertain if you are swimming please contact your coach. It is vital for ALL selected swimmers and reserves to be at the meet as
we are restricted to only listed swimmers being permitted to compete. We
are unable to substitute listed reserves. Last year we finished 3rd and
are keen to improve on that effort so we will need “all hands on deck”
(swimmers, reserves and supporters) to support YOUR team.
All West Coast members are invited to be at Challenge Stadium on Friday the 10th of February to be included in our annual ‘Team Photo’. The timing of this activity is no coincidence.
A training session will be held from 4 to 5pm for swimmers (all levels) who are not competing in the A grade Premiership team. We want as many members as possible to get along to the team photo. Swimmers MUST wear their team shirt to training and to meet at the outdoor 8-lane pool at 4:50pm for our annual West Coast team photo.
The A-Grade premiership march-past commences at 5.45pm and all members are invited to get into the spirit and march into the stadium with our A-Grade team. The theme has been chosen, so dress up and help us put on a West Coast show. If unsure about what to wear check with your coaches or with Yolanda Carstens.
Please return regularly to this page during the week as information will be updated as required.
